Residential Energy Audits & Processing (REAP) is a New York–based company dedicated to helping homeowners save money, improve comfort, and access state-backed energy efficiency programs through NYSERDA. Headquartered in Albany, we proudly serve the Capital Region and are rapidly expanding across New York State.
Position Overview
We are seeking driven, detail-oriented individuals to join our growing team as Residential Energy Auditors. In this role, you’ll perform in-home assessments, identify opportunities for efficiency upgrades, and guide families through the process of accessing NYSERDA incentives.
For experienced candidates, we also have an opening for a Regional Auditing Manager to lead field operations, mentor auditors, and ensure top-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct residential energy audits in line with NYSERDA guidelines.
Collect and analyze home performance data (insulation, HVAC, air leakage, etc.).
Prepare and submit accurate audit reports and documentation.
Clearly communicate findings and recommendations to homeowners.
Ensure compliance with all NYSERDA and REAP standards.
(Manager role) Oversee regional auditors, provide training/support, and ensure timely report submission.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
Computer proficiency.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Preferred:
BPI Certification (Building Analyst, Envelope, or related).
Experience with NYSERDA programs.
Construction, HVAC, or home inspection background.
Leadership/management experience (for manager role).

Work Schedule
Full-time and part-time roles available.
